Safe Environment Guidelines from the Diocese of Bismarck

CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is offered to children ages 3 through kindergarten-aged children. The instruction will take place in the atrium in the Little Flower Parish Center second floor (the former parish office) on Wednesdays from 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The school year will begin on September 11th. Please use the south doors to enter the parish.

The cost is $50 per child. Checks should be made payable to "Little Flower Church."

The atrium is a place where the child can listen to the proclamation of the Good News, meditate on it, and begin to live it according to the child's own rhythm. The interior design of the atrium corresponds to the child's developmental needs and allows for freedom of movement. The environment helps even the youngest children give expression to an intimate, loving relationship with God.

With Scripture and Liturgy as the primary sources, the children will be soundly supported in learning about the kingdom of God, the life of Jesus, the Mass, the Sacraments, and prayer. It is in the atrium that the children fall in love with the Good Shepherd, Jesus.
